Dr. Phyllis A. Amori
Dr. Phyllis A. Amori is an independent consultant with over 40 years of service to the K-12 educational sector. She resides in North Carolina and is employed as an executive coach by Putnam Northern BOCES in Westchester County, NY.
Dr. Amori earned the Ed.D. degree in organizational leadership from Teachers College, Columbia University in 2010, with a specialized focus on moral leadership in K-12 education. She was a classroom teacher for 27 years and a K-12 administrator for 15 years, in NY and CT school districts.
Dr. Amori believes very strongly in the power of effective school leadership to maximize teacher performance and student learning. She founded Better Leaders Better Learners to help school administrators turn their visions for highly effective schools into reality.
